The "Private, Civil and Public SEXUALITIES" is an XI. international academic conference that took place for the first time at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (Slovakia) at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health Studies in 2007. The iniciator was psychologist and ethician Dagmar Marková (currently a professor at the Faculty of Arts UKF). Last, 10th anniversary took place in Bratislava, Slovakia, organized by Institute for Research in Social Communication of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in 2017. Since then the conference would be organized as biannual event.
