The "Sexualities" conference

"Private, Civil, and Public SEXUALITIES" is an XI International Academic Conference that was held for the first time at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra (Slovakia) at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health Studies in 2007. The initiator was psychologist and ethician Dagmar Marková (currently a professor at the Faculty of Arts UKF). The last conference, its 10th anniversary, took place in Bratislava, Slovakia, and was organized by the Institute for Research in Social Communication of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in 2017. Since then, the conference has been organized as a biannual event.
